IRISH SHOWS ASSOCIATION

Rules for Exhibitors

  1. Exhibitors accept that the Judges decision is final in all cases. Any abuse of Judges will not be tolerated. Where a dispute or case for complaint the matter should only be dealt with under rule f below.

  2. Winners of Qualifiers are themselves responsible for entering their animals (or exhibits) for the final in accordance with j and k above within one hour of qualifying.

  3. Winners of qualifiers will compete in the final.

  4. The Irish Shows Association in conjunction with the sponsor reserve the right to alter or amend the rules of any competition as may be necessary or appropriate.

  5. Shows and competitors must contact the National ISA Office for details of any championships and not the sponsor involved.

  6. Objections must be lodged in writing with the ISA representative at the show or the Show Secretary within half an hour following the completion of judging, together with a fee of €50 or other stated fee, which is refundable in the event of the objection being upheld.

  7. Any exhibitor who make a false declaration or misrepresents a fact regarding themselves or their exhibit are liable to disqualification and or forfeiture of any prizes awarded.

 

IN THE INTEREST OF SAFETY, ALL BOVINE AND EQUINE ANIMALS IN ISA ORGANISED CHAMPIONSHIPS MUST BE LED BY COMPETENT ADULTS.

SAFETY STATEMENT

The Show is committed to safety. As far as reasonably possible the Committee have done everything in their power to ensure the safety, health and welfare of all involved in the running of the show – especially competitors and members of the public attending the show. Safety Officers instructions must be obeyed at all times.

 

GENERAL RULES

The arrangements of the show shall be in the hands of the directors, committee and sub-committee. All persons entering the show premises shall be subject to the directors of the Stewards and Secretary.

  1. Every exhibit must be bona-fide property of the exhibitor in whose name it is entered.

  2. Intending competitors must lodge as stated in this schedule or on Entry Form by 11th June a complete list of their entries clearly and correctly numbered as laid out in this schedule on the official entry form.

  3. No entry shall be received unless accompanied with the specific entry fees.

  4. The organisers reserve the right to return entries and fees in classes that do not fill and the right to return any entry without incurring any liability.

  5. The organisers shall not be responsible for any claim for compensation or otherwise, in regard to the holding of or for anything arising out of or connected with the show.

  6. The decision of the Judges shall be to merit.

  7. Objections or appeals on point qualification shall be considered by the organisers if lodged with the secretary, together with a €20 fee on the day the exhibit is judged.

  8. The judge shall have the power to award 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes according to the merits of the exhibit, or to withhold any or all of the prizes in any class for the want of merit.
